Alphabet game

April 2016

Based in the popular TV show, this game developed by us challenges mental speed, memory and knowledge of general culture of the players.

Available for Android, our product is always ranked between the most popular apps of its category, Trivia, at Google Play Store, even it was at the #2 rank some months!.

The popular game, developed completely with native components. It is possible for the app to “read” the questions to the user, and to listen his questions, thanks to our Text-To-Speech implementation.

Facebook friends ranking.

Users can buy coins and game boosters with in-app purchases.

Players can challenge their Facebook friends to get the highest score. They will receive a push notification when it’s their turn, and when the challenge result is available.

La Nación

2015 – 2016

Thanks to our successful participation in a Hackathon hosted by La Nación, we were hired to colaborate with their existent Android team. During that project, the following tasks were performed:

  • New software architecture definition
  • Brand new design of the UI and UX
  • Significant performance improvements in app loading and render time

The newspaper’s main screen has a tab navigation pattern.

The new’s detail allows the user to listen the content, thanks to the Text-To-Speech feature.

The users can customize their settings, in order to enable or disable the notifications, change image quality, text size, and , among other things.

LoJack GIS

October 2016 - April 2017

We designed and developed from scratch the Geographical Information System of LoJack, used by their corporate clients in order to follow their vehicles.

Apps were developed in native technologies for both, Android and iOS, respecting the UI patterns for each platform. In just three months, the product was uploaded to the app stores, and new versions were updated each two weeks.

This project involved:

  • Google Maps API
  • Location Services
  • Local persistence

Google Maps API and Google Geocoder allow us to locate vehicles and search specific locations.

Vehicle detail shows contextual information, and centers the map in its location.

Control zones are circumferences and polygons, that allows the user to be notified when any vehicle leaves the area.

Wabee

September 2016 - April 2017

We helped our friends at Grupo Esfera to develop their Minimum Viable Product of Wabee, an electric energy monitor that allows you to know in detail how are you consuming energy at home and help you to make good decisions about energy efficiency.

This IoT project involved the app and back-end development, in order to send, process and show your home's real-time energy consumption.

Main features and technologies involved:

  • MQTT Protocol
  • REST Services
  • Device configuration over WiFi
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging

Your power consuption can be monitored in real time from anywhere.

History detail, with advanced graphics that allows you to compare with previous days.

Thanks to the data gathered by other Wabee's around the country, it is possible to the user to know the energy efficiency category.

Dynamix Mobile

2015 - 2016

Dynamix Music it’s a fitness music company that worked with us in the development of their native apps.

In this project, among other things, we developed a music player capable of modify the song Beats-Per-Minute (BPM, or tempo) in real time, but without modifying the pitch. In other words, music can be played faster or slower, without changes in the vocalist tone. This feature involved a deep investigation about signal processing, filters and a low-level development.

More interesting features:

  • Local storage, in order to allow user to download their albums to the smartphone
  • Custom music player
  • Capability of change the song tempo, without modify pitch

The media player allows to change BMP with the audio console slider.

Tu VideoCV

2016 - 2017

This startup, recognized with multiple awards in Argentina, contacted us in order to develop their Android app, a vide-recording mobile software. The app allows users to record their CV.

The “Video CV” format gained popularity in the last years, but most people can’t product a high-quality video for two reasons: they doesn’t know how to tell their story, and they doesn’t have video editing knowledge.

With this app, the user is guided through a recording process, each one focused in a single part of their history. Finally, the app it’s responsible for combine the parts, apply effects and filters, add a background music, and more.

Most important features are:

  • Video recorder
  • A backend that process and edits the videos automatically
  • Ability to apply video filters
  • Social features like share your video on Facebook, LinkedIn and more.

After login (Facebook/Google), the user is ready for record his Video CV.

Let’s Talk

2016 - 2017

Let’s Talk is an enterprise messaging app. Companies and clientes now have a simple UI in order to get connected. The companies IT department has total control over the conversations, information flow and analytics needed for measure if they are efficient. Also, the applied “white label” architecture (Android Flavors) allows that each compagine can customize the entire design of their app, with low cost associated.

Features and technologies involved:

  • Real-time data (Pubnub)
  • Push notifications
  • Flavors: Each companie can custom their app

A modern design shows the actual conversations, featuring those with unread messages.

Chat screen, updated in real time when the user is here, thanks to the Pubnub integration. When the user is in another screen, receives a push notification.

Users can customize their profile.

Picme!

2014

We developed this social network for our clientes at London. Picme is about an app that allows users to take selfies with their phones, and apply some image filters just like Instagram, but in 2013. Users can also discover nearby people and chat with each other.

Most important features and technologies are:

  • Geolocation
  • Image filters
  • Social: Chat, Like, Share, etc.

Users can follow others and be notified when a new selfie is uploaded.

Users can maintain private chats.

Dosis de Vitamina D (Doses of Vitamin D)

2016 - 2017

Roemmers asked us for develop apps for medical doctors, so they can use apps as a reference when they need to calculate D Vitamin dosis.

We developed these apps using native technologies for both, Android and iOS.

The app allows to enter the values in order to calculate the dose.

By entering the parameters, the app calculates the necessary dose.

Zibilia

Zibilia is the event agenda for the Buenos Aires City.

They asked us for design and develop their iOS and Android app, focusing on Material Design guidelines and optimal runtime performance.

The app main screen has a minimalist style, and welcomes the user with the featured events.

Events search by category allows to navigate through the calendar.

The event detail has a parallax animation when scrolling. And it’s integrated with Google Maps.

Club La Nación

Club La Nación is the biggest benefits card community from Argentina.

We developed from scratch the brand new Android app version, interacting with the design department in order to share our UI and UX proposals. We love the result!

App’s homepage welcomes the user with a chat-like animation.

Search results are ordered by closeness by default.

App allows to filter the search results based in any criteria.

Training

We give talks, courses and technical workshops to both companies and developer communities.

We know that Internet is already a big information and tutorials repository, but the better way to learn is mentoring from a passionate professional. We teach what we lear day after day through product development, and our courses are full of stories and solutions found in real software projects.
